Without internet for 3 weeks


Hello, 

we are without internet for three weeks, we have a Homebox 4461. We already called and explained the situation, (which light is blinking etc.) they couldn’t help us. They have sent a technician who didn’t find any problem on the line. He said that maybe can be the router but, besides the fact the we have no internet there are no evidence the router is broken or defekt. So after being left to our own we called again today and the guy in a very arrogant and pretentious way made us understand that it is not his problem and we have to buy a new router and hope for the best. You are the worst company ever, we paid the last month without having internet and who knows how long we will stay without, and the worse without receiving a real help but contempt. Can you please show some respect for your costumers helping us and do something professional like other companies do?

when the contract is ending the router will be reclaimed.

We have different routers that you can rent:

  • The HomeBox 3 for 3,99/€/month
  • The AVM FRITZ!Box 7590 for 5,99€/month
  • The AVM FRITZ!Box 7590 AX for 6,99€/month

The one-time fee is 49,99€

 

Which router do you want to meet?

OK. 

You have 2 Problems…

Frist the HomeBox is a rent only hardware. So you could only (legally) rent a homebox from O2.

If you rent the HomeBox from O2 you will get support from O2 for the Homebox.

Second problem you land lane has switched wrong.

Buy a FRITZ!Box 7520 if you have not much money from eBay.

Or buy any 75x0 FRITZ!Box from a shop e.g. Amazon.

Call the hotline again and tell them you have tried another router and you are getting a Telekom homepage. And ask if it is possible that hour “verschaltet”.

Did you try a different router yet and did you call our technical colleagues again?

I would also recommend that you take a router for rent from us.

yes at this point I would like to rent a router but before I would like to know a few things: 

- my contract is ending in November because I already resigned. What happens if I rent a router now? Is the renting going to end along with my contract?  

- how much is the router going to cost? 
 

- after the renting will I have full support in case the problem will subsist?

what do you exactly mean with flipping?

I answered your PN´s with a short instruction that can help you.

You need to set up the router with the setup assistant.
