Why do I need an E-sim for my - "O2 my Home M Flex" order?

I just recently ordered "O2 my Home M Flex", and now I've received an email asking to get an e-Sim. Isn't the e-sim supposed to be automatically included on my order and not to be ordered separately?

And do I have to get an O2 E-sim to get my Router working and connect to the internet?

Here are the details of my order:

  • Type of package/rate - O2 my Home M Flex
  • Router - O2 Home Spot 5G

Hello @Crypto_Degen ,

you should not need to get an eSIM, you can order an eSIM instead of a physical simcard, but this is not required.

Should you need additional details, here's my order number - 0000081341
And I do hope that NOT ordering an e-sim at this point won't cause any delay on my internet installation, as I haven't found the option to get an e-SIM while I was ordering aside from choosing a router.
