Renew home internet

My home internet contract past it's minimum term a long time ago. It's now month to month but I believe I am paying more for the package than I could be.

As I understand from other posts, you would send me a new contract offer, and if I accept it then the old contract will be terminated when the new contract becomes active. Are there any downsides to consider?

At the same time my mobile contract is also coming to an end so perhaps it makes sense to handle the renewals for both at the same time.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello @Kingmurm,

welcome to our o2 Community 😀

We'll gladly send you an offer for extending your landline contract in the next few days, and if you wish, also for your mobile phone contract.

Are you primarily concerned about the price, or would you also like to make changes to the plan, such as a faster speed?

You'll receive the offer by email; please check beforehand that you have a valid email address registered with us.

Best regards

Giulia

Thank you for the reply. I am happy with the speed and performance of both home and mobile so it is mainly based on price. I would be happy to receive it for the mobile contract too.

My email is registered / up to date so I will keep an eye out for the offer. Thanks again

Hello, @Kingmurm

I’ve just sent you suitable offers for both your home internet and mobile contracts via email. They are valid for 8 days, so you can take your time and decide at your convenience which option suits you best.

You can find the product information sheets with all details for the o2 Home L 300 and o2 Mobile Unlimited on Demand Light 2025 (without applied discounts) here:
https://www.o2online.de/recht/produktinformationsblatt/

If you have any questions or if anything is unclear, feel free to reach out at any time. I’m happy to support you further.

Kind regards,
Senay 🌼

Thank you. I presume you cannot activate the black week deal so that I get 600 Mbit/s for the same price? There is no incentive to renew as I pay the same amount currently as the new offer and then I am commited to another 2 years

Hi @Kingmurm

I’m glad to hear that you liked the mobile offer and have already accepted it. 😌 If you’re referring to the fixed-line offer shown on the website, unfortunately that one isn’t available for a contract renewal — it only applies to completely new connections.

You’re right that the offer you received by email includes the same services, but it’s priced a bit lower, even if it’s not exactly what you had in mind.

Hello @Kingmurm,

I would like to ask if you are satisfied with your mobile plan and our offer for fixed internet and whether there are any questions remaining from your side?

Best Regards,

Gerrit

Thanks. Yes I am happy with the mobile plan. For the internet I will keep it as it is for now. Perhaps I switch to another provider later if I see a good deal for a new customer.
