O2 DSL cancellation due to move abroad

Hello O2 community,

I will be moving out of Germany and to cancel the contract, I will have my deregistration certificate. But as I am moving to my home country (where they dont provide any registration certificate) in my own home and that too without a job currently at hand, for the extraordinary DSL contract cancellation, can I provide any other documents (for eg. one way flight ticket to the home country?). Or is there any other way possible to cancel it before the actual date?

Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry.

Bumer was able to link you to our article on the subject, thank you for that.

You can also use our new online cancellation form, where you can also easily submit an early termination due to moving abroad (außerordentliche Kündigung). Documents can be easily uploaded there, so that there is no need to send them by letter.

It is sufficient if you initially submit only the deregistration certificate. If further documents are required, our cancellation department will inform you.
