My DSL internet is not working

Hello, I have a contract with o2, since June 2024, and the internet stops working continuously, on January 29th it stopped working, a technician came on February 7th, this was 10 days without internet, and they keep charging me the normal price, today again the internet stops working..., I don't know what else I can do with these problems.

0800 525 1378 Mon. - Fri. 8 am - 8 pm, Sat. 10 am - 6 pm, on workdays

I have already reported the fault and they generated a ticket.

When the technician from telekom came, he connected a device and saw that the DSL line was fine, then he restarted the modem 2 times and the internet came back, he didn't know what the problem was but the internet was working again.

Is there a way to apply for a discount on the bill for all these days without internet?

You can report the fault using the online form, our colleagues in the back office will then check your request for a credit note and arrange everything else

Mein Heim-Internet funktioniert nicht. Die Internet-Leuchte blinkt rot und blau und ich habe kein DSL. Was kann ich tun?

I used the O2 app to try to solve the problem, and when I couldn't solve it with that, I waited for the technician, and in the end the problem was that the router was overheating where it was, I left it in a place that had better ventilation, and it worked, try turning it off for a few hours and then leaving it in a cooler place

herzlich willkommen hier bei uns in unserer o2 Community 🙂

Oh weh, das ist nicht so schön, dass dein DSL nicht mehr geht. Blinkt er weiter rot und blau oder nur noch rot?

Welchen Router verwendest du? 

Hast du schon versucht, ihn vom Stromnetz zu nehmen oder auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen?

Thanks for your feedback, ​@Panshokl, that is an interesting cause but it can indeed happen and other than computer or laptop, with a router we are not constantly in touch.

Great to read, that your internet is now working with your router in a different pace 🙂
