Hi O2 community,

Since my German is very (very) poor and O2 does not provide anymore an English customer service, here I am.
I am moving to new flat, and the last tenant had cable internet. And according to her and the landlord there is no telephone landline in the flat hence it’s not possible to have a DSL contract. I would like to know if O2 can verify this, and if it’s possible to have DSL internet, would like to start the procedure to open the line.

Thanks for your attention

@MaxGP yes it may be that a cable provider has the sole right to the new address. Did you have at your old room an o2 dsl contract before? If yes, did you cancel the contract or you want to move the contract to the new room?

Check out the homespot alternative.

@Joe Doe I had a DSL contract in my old flat but I didn’t cancel because I thought of just moving the contract to my new place.

normally the landlord is used to install the possibility for a telephone line if it is part of your contract.

so, if it is part of your contract, ask your landlord, if its not, try the O2 Homespot...

@EikeS. Well the problem is I spoke to the landlord and she doesn’t know. She couldn’t told me if there’s an active telephone line. I’ll try to speak to the hausmeister, maybe he knows. And in the contract it’s not specified.

Yeah better speak with the Hausmeister. He should know if there is any APL in the building.

or maybe the Telekom knows it…

Hi @MaxGP,

and thanks to @EikeS.@Denner and @Joe Doe.

What’s the state of your request according the APL in the cellar? Did you succeed?

Greetz
