If you have ordered a rental router from o2 together with your o2 DSL connection, the device will be delivered on schedule a few days before the connection is provided.
Please check your order confirmation if a router was ordered at all. If a router is listed there but you did not receive one, the delivery address you entered may be wrong or the name was not written on the bell plate and mailbox.

To order a rental router from o2 at a later date, you can contact the o2 customer service.
Or perhaps buying a router e.g. AVM Fritzbox 7530 in a store would be a good option for you. There are also other offers for renting VDSL routers. Google for "Router Miete" for a cheaper offer.

i received the Modem homebox 6641.. i do everything for connection according instruction but my DSL cannot be lighted on!

i have network but no internet access. 

please help me!

unfortunately no answer i received,  my DSL light is completely off, how can i get a hint?! LAN, WLAN and POWER is on, i do it with o2 DSL service suit but cannot reach the o2.box page,

im confused!


I  checked my connection with o2 hilfe app,it cannot detect my DSL wiring and Router, (DSL is OFF),

M dsl line was activated by technicians on 14.04.2020, 

Its possible to check my line? Rufnummer : XXXXXXXXXX

Another thing: the router is borrowed from another person and i need to check every fixed connection of previous , is deactivated.

if any details you need please inform me. 

I’m getting trouble with NO internet!

O2 Homeboxes may only be used at the agreed connection address. Borrowing an o2 Homebox that was issued for a different connection is therefore not permitted. Devices that have been configured for an ADSL connection will also not synchronize on VDSL connections. 

If the DSL LED is off, probably the provision of the connection was not successful. If the DSL LED flashes, it is probably also due to the DSL router. Please make sure that you have connected a suitable VDSL router (no o2 homebox from someone else) directly to the first TAE socket in your apartment.

i tested 3 different modems (o2 homebox 6641, Tp link and FritzBox 7530), i bought Fritzbox from store directly. but there is no Cable connection (TEA socket)!!!!!!

please check my line! XXXXXXXXXX

if it doesn't work i want to cancel my contract!

How to create a technical error ticket for (V)DSL line at o2


hey. i received a ticket number for my problem previous week, my dsl was not active at all...

so what should i do now?

i want to change the date of my contract (its legally from the activation of DSL line.!)

if there is a link please give me.

I am glad to hear that you DSL connection is up and running now :-)

Unfortunately there were some issues regarding the activation of your DSL line, it seems like the technician  did not connect the right cables. Sorry for any inconveniences you had.

Since the reason for the not working connection and the date that it started working and also the date it should have started to work are visible to me you will recieve a credit or the time that the connection was not working. You might recieve further information regaring this via email, you will also see the credit on one of the two following invoices.
