Kombi-Vorteil not activated


When I signed up for O2 Home M, I was given a KombiVorteil offer for 24 months as shown in the confirmation email I received. However, on receiving the first invoice I am not given this advantage and I was charged the full monthly rate. This is very misleading and a breach of what I am received in the email below when I signed up for the contract!!

Which contracts/tariffs do you still have with o2?

I have the O2 myHome M, and I had the Testkarte at the time when I signed up for the former contract. I was shown the option to get a KombiVorteil as an O2 customer when I signed up for the Home package. Yesterday on the phone I was told that I am not eligible for this discount as the Testkarte is not a contract. At the time of applying for the myHome contract I assumed that the Testkarte was a contract, and that is why I assumed I am eligible for this discount. So why was I offered the discount if I am not eligible in the first case? I would have chosen the Young People or New Customer discount if I had the chance, but since 14 days have passed they cannot offer me this discount anymore.

 

What annoys me is that they offered this discount on the website and confirmed it by email (see screenshot) and never informed me that I am not eligible. I only realised when I got my first invoice, which was too late.

At least two qualified contracts are required for the combination advantage (the test card is not, because the card only has a specific term and is automatically terminated). If a contract is canceled (cancelled and ended), then the combination benefit is also canceled immediately.
For this reason, you do not get the combo benefit.

Ok, I understand this now but why was I offered a 24 month discount when the test card contract is only 1 month? Why was I offered a discount which I am not eligible for? This is very shady and the email above should have never been sent in the first place.

I think I deserve to be allowed to apply for the Young People/New Customer discount, since this applies for me, and I was never informed before the invoice that I was ineligible for the discount I chose. I dont think that the 14 day cancellation period should be used as an excuse to forbid me from getting a discount rate.

Regarding this topic I received a reply from impressum and they told me that the Young People discount cannot be activated but they will activate the New Customer discount in this case (12 x 10 euros). I think this fair in this case, so the case is closed.

Combo benefit eligibility is checked later and not in real time.

o2 will not give you any other/additional discount afterwards.
