Is it possible to switch my O2 DSL contract to another provider early?

Hello O2 Community,

I currently have an O2 DSL contract that runs until the end of 2026. Is there a way to switch to another internet provider before the contract expires without having to pay a high fee? What are the terms and conditions for early termination or a provider switch with O2? Is there a possible transfer fee I can pay to get out of the contract early?

I look forward to hearing about your experiences and tips.

Ein Anbieterwechsel ist erst zum Ende der MVLZ möglich, o2 wird nicht vorzeitig auf die bis zum MVLZ-Ende fälligen Gebühren verzichten.

In this context, the question arises as to WHY you want to change providers. Are there any restrictions on your internet connection?

@Klaus_VoIP Actually I used first o2 M100 (SIM Internet) then i switch to o2 DSL, but i told them not give me a new contract only switch the contract and the customer care guy in the shop it is possible. But I do not know why they give me a new 2 year contract. 

O2 is full of scam. In there hotline every time I call they tell different things.

24-month contracts are cheaper, and from what you said, you didn't rule out 24 months. As far as I know, a 24-month SIM contract could only be canceled during the term with a new 24-month contract.

I was unable to discern a reason for extraordinary termination from your messages. Termination is therefore possible at the end of the contract period. Why do you want to change providers now?
