Hello O2 Team,

Thanks a lot for upgrading the plan from O2 DSL Classic M to O2 my Home L.

I have O2 HomeBox 6641 and i did reset the WiFi Router after the upgrade. But strangely internet download speed is not crossing even 30Mbps. This was the speed i was getting with O2 DSL Classic M.

I have already checked o2 DSL availability check for my address and up to 250 Mbps is possible either with Cable or DSL connection.

Should i do something to get faster internet?

Did you measure the speed via WLAN or LAN?

I measured the speed using WLAN. I wanted to check the same with LAN cable, but unfortunatley LAN ports of O2 HomeBox 6641 are not working. If i want make LAN to work that would be another challenge.

O2 Case Number: 200782

I called hotline twice with this number, unfortunatley calls from mobile was getting cut in between.

Hello @NanaNina,

if you are measuring the speed of an internet connection there are many possible reasons causes that influence the maximal speed that you will reach.like for example any other WiFi network in the vicinity and also any device that uses WiFi.

If the LAN ports of the router are not working with any LAN cable that you can test I recommend to get in touch with our technical departement so they can have a look into this and arrange an exchange if necessary :-)
