Looks good. Actually, I would have expected a wall socket with DATA. Is such a socket not available?

"Cable Connected" already means correct connection.

Thank you for the answer. The thing is - I don’t want to put the router in the room, I want to keep it in this box near the door. As you can see, the splitter in the box has one input and two outputs. They were both connected, I put out one of them to connect the router. And here are my plugs in the room. I’m assuming that 2 cables from the splitter connected with this plug (now one disconnected, to connect the router).

Cable Connected" already means correct connection.

So that’s mean it’s for sure the ‘right’ plug?

Thank you for the answer again, it’s hard to find support in English. I have to learn German

As long as the metal boxes (splitters) do not contain a frequency filter, the connection can be used without any problems. As mentioned - connected is perfect there.
But the splitter must be installed behind the amplifier.

Sorry, didn't get this. What do you mean?

My next steps is just to wait? And on September 1 internet will just start working without any actions from my side?

Just wait (max. 24h)

Somewhere in the house will be installed a amplifier, which is very important.

Just an update. Today at the morning i received SMS ‘your internet is activated’. But nothing actually works. Than i reset my router to factory settings - and after that it works!

Hi @undefined,
welcome to our community.
I am glad that Klaus_VoIP could help you with the installation. In order for the router to pull the new data, a factory reset of the router is necessary, just like you did.
Are you satisfied with your connection so far?
Kind regards
Larissa

Hi @undefined,
Are you satisfied with your connection so far?

Hi! Thank you! Unfortunately uploading speed is much less than it should be. It should be 25 mbit/s but it’s actually 9. Download speed is almost as should be - so it’s ok. Stability is good, it’s to early to say it, but so far so good

edited: not 40mbit, but 25, thx blablup

That’s not true. There is no o2 cable/DOCSIS product with an upload speed of up to 40 Mbit/s.

The contractual minimum upload speed for o2 my Home L (cable/DOCSIS) is 1.8 Mbit/s.

I was looking at the DSL Home XL, but still, cable Home XL is 250 \ 25.

And yes, i know that it’s always ‘up to XXX’ not exact XXX.

Hi @undefined

yes, that´s correct.

On our homepage you find the following up- and download-rates:

“Bei Bereitstellung über Kabel beträgt die normale Download-/Upload-Geschwindigkeit im O2 my Home XL 200/20 MBit/s” (When provided via cable, the normal download/ upload speed in the O2 my Home XL is 200/20 Mbit/s.)

And in our tariff leaflets you find the following minimum speed:

How is your download-rate at the moment? Do you reach a minimum of 105 MBit/s now?

Loving greetings,

Tobias
