Fooled by O2 sales person.

I went to port my prepaid sim to contract one in Berlin O2 store. Got the sim but the guy also started a landline and broadband connection in my name with my IBAN details. I received the contract through mail and the technician is going to show up at my home in a few days. Even if I say no to the technician, they will charge me 44€. How do I cancel this contract?. Please help.

Did you sign for the broadband contract?

Hello @cgireeshb ,

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

When you enter a contract in a shop, you should have had to sign the contract there directly. Which is also why only that shop could stop the contract at all if you don’t want it. You should get in contact with them and ask about a possible withdrawal from the internet contract that you do not want.

Kind regards, Sven

Did you sign for the broadband contract?

Yes, they just made me digital sign a bunch of papers. I thought it's for the sim.

So does this mean, even If I do not install the connection, I will be charged on a monthly basis.

Hello @cgireeshb,
of course I can understand your displeasure 🤔

If the connection cannot be activated on the planned day, you will be asked to make a new appointment.

Have you been back to the shop in the meantime to discuss your concerns about the contract you don't need and to ask for cancellation?

Kind regards, Kathi 🌞
