The DSL connection is unstable since the tecnitian set it up back in October , the connection keeps droping packages and loosing the connection with the isp at random times. When it does connect the speed is working find but you can not get a stable connection for longer than 5 mins which makes it impossible to actually set up a remote connection to any service.

I am sorry that there seems to be a problem with your DSL connection. These disconnects can have many different causes. First of all, please check all cable connections for loose contacts or broken cables. Please do not use extension cables or multiple sockets and only use the original cables if possible. If the cables are all in order, please carry out a power reset: To do this, pull the plug of the switched-on router out of the socket. Wait 1 to 2 minutes. After the power reset, the lights on your router will turn on one after another automatically. The Internet and telephone LEDs should also light up again after a short time.
Then please leave the router switched on permanently. If the disconnects occur again, please call our customer support. We also offer an English hotline. As for technical support I would advise to ask a German speaking friend to assist you. They will open a ticket for our technicians and is possible that a technician has to check the DSL line at your appartement then.
