dsl change tariff

Hello dear O2 Moderators.

I’m writing here as i seen in other questions around the same topic, you asked clients to reach out with such requests to the community forum.

I need to change my dsl tariff from “O2 DSL Classic S Flex” to “O2 my Home L Flex” with no minimum term commitment.

Edit o2_Larissa: moved to English o2 Community: Broadband / DSL

Hello @aek8teu6o,

I am pleased that you are interested in a change to a tariff with more bandwidth. Switching to o2 My Home L Flex is free of charge, your monthly basic fee will increase by EUR 5 per month as a result of the change.

Please see our product information sheets for further details.

If you agree, we will send you detailled information via Email (please make sure your email adress with us is correct) and you can confirm the new plan by clicking a link in the email.

Switching to a faster DSL-line takes up to three weeks, the exact date will be communicated via email as well.

Please let me know if you agree or if you have any further questions.

Best regards

Giulia

Hello @o2_Giulia

Thanks a lot! yes please send me over the information for the tariff upgrade.

I only like to remind you that i do not want a contract with a fixed term. i want to be able to cancel my contract any time with a one month notice.

Thank you!

Hello @aek8teu6o,

Hello @aek8teu6o,

I hope everything went well with the product change. Are you happy with the new bandwidth?

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards

Giulia

Hi @o2_Giulia thanks for checking on the status. i have an ongoing problem with my line since weeks, it interrupts daily in random times. i called technical support more than once doesn’t seem to be fixed.

also regarding the new tariff, it never reached the announced bandwidth “100Mbps”, still around ~50 like the old tariff. :|

Hello @aek8teu6o,

I'm sorry you seem to be having trouble with the new line. I took a closer look at your DSL connection, but it looks allright at the moment. The current bandwidth is at 94.3 Mbit/s in download and 46.7 Mbit/s in upload. In the last week only one line interruption is visible.

Has the problem also disappeared on your side? If not: Do you have these disconnects only when using a wifi connection? Have you checked the cables for loose connections?

Best regards

Giulia

Hello @aek8teu6o,

I have checked your connection once more and it still doesn’t look okay. If it is disturbing you, please contact our technical support and let them check it again.

For any further questions please contact us again here 🙂

Best regards

Giulia

thanks @o2_Giulia! in fact it’s not stable at all, i have contacted tech support several times, every time i cannot reach anyone english speaking from tech support, even using the english hotline.

Please let me know if you can already have some colleague from technical support take a look into the line. Thanks again!

Hello @aek8teu6o,

if you agree, we can exchange your router first against a new model of the homebox in oder to rule out that it is causing the interference.

The exchange would be free of charge. The new router must be set up by you with the 10-digit PIN, do you still have it?

Please let me know if you agree and I’ll let you know further details.

Best regards

Giulia

Thanks @o2_Giulia! yes i have the PIN from the first welcome email.

Please let me know what’s next, and if i can receive and test it before 01.05.2022.

Thank you!

Hello @aek8teu6o,

I have now ordered a new router for you 🙂 It will be delivered within a few days, you should receive it by the beginning of next week. It comes with DHL, you will receive an email with the tracking ID.

If you have received it and set it up, please check if your old router needs to be returned here: Retourenportal. There you can also print out a return sticker or download a mobile parcel label as a QR code. The return is made with DHL as well and is also free of charge.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Best regards

Giulia
