Hi Team, I have moved back to India and when enquiring for termination of contract I was asked to send a cancellation form and deregistration document as proof. I have sent all the necessary documents to the Telefonica Nuremberg address.  I did not receive any confirmation or acknowledgement to my mentioned mail id or my friends Germany address.

 

I have been sent with my monthly charges bill to my German bank account. Can you help in canceling the contract and do the needful.

Hello @PraveenMCS,

 

we have received your letter of cancellation on August 12th 2020 and your contract will be cancelled by the next possible date on August 28th 2020. This was already confirmed in our letter of August 18th (sent to your old adress).

 

Your landline connection will then be switched off as requested on this date. Due to the premature termination of the contract, we will charge you additional fees to cover the remaining term. We are entitled to do this for a further three months according to German law.

Hi Guilia, thanks for the information. The acknowledgement you gave is helpful. 

1. Can I get any info on how much amount will be deducted for this ?

2.Is there a possibility that you can send the letter to my registred email because no one is available for receiving the post.

Hello @PraveenMCS,

you will be billed three months base fee after recieving all necessary confirmation. Please login into Mein o2 and make sure that the email address is still valid, please also have a look into your SPAM folder since this information should also have been sent via email.

Thanks for the info. But please note that I haven't received any mail yet. I have checked in my primary mail box and spam folder too.

I had a look into this, the information was sent via email. Please have a look if it appeared in your SPAM folder. If you do not find this email and the letter as PDF attachment, please make surre that your email address in Mein o2 is up to date and verified :-)
