cancellation of a contract before its activation

Hello everyone,

I subscribed to a cable Internet service that can be canceled at any time on the website. I checked on the website to see if my home was eligible for cable connection, and the answer was yes.
The technician came yesterday and clearly told me that the cable connection was too weak and that the contract would have to be canceled and replaced with a DSL connection.
However, I have no way of canceling it, as it has not yet been activated and will not be until October 28, 2025.
I don't know if this is done automatically after the technician's report or if I have to do it myself.
I would therefore be grateful if you could help me resolve this issue so that I can cancel this contract and sign up for another one, but for ADSL.

Okay, I just noticed that my box has been returned; the delivery person did not deliver it.

It's very unfortunate that your cable connection apparently couldn't be activated. You usually have the option to cancel your order or switch to a different technology.

Unfortunately, we can't verify whether this is possible in this case, as you aren't registered in our community with your contract.

Hello,

I have already called and was told to wait for the contract to be activated before I can change the type of contract. In addition, the box was returned by the delivery person. I cannot even check my email address or register with the community via the contract because I have not received a contract code.

I recommend that you cancel and then place a new order with the desired technology.
