Can i switch from O2 5G internet at home to fiber?

Hello, so i have  O 2 my Home M 5G. And i would like to switch to Fiber 1000. My contract expires on 1.9. SHould i wait for it to expire or can i do it before that?

I have checked your options concerning your fixnet at home. You can choose between Cable Internet (COAX) up to 1000 Mbit/s or DSL up to 250 Mbit/s.

Please think about what you need for internet usage. COAX is a shared medium if there are a lot of user in your area using this technology you’ll have to arrange with lower speed if everyone is online. If you are a gamer there is no public IPv4 to be used. DSL is exclusively for you. So you better used less speed but safe options. 

You can change your contract right now if you want to. No need to wait until october.
