I am still getting a bill, although we moved out of Germany.

I am still getting a bill for home phone and internet. We moved out of Germany almost 2 months ago and I received confirmation that my account was closed on August 5. I am supposed to pay until August 31. But I just got another bill until mid September. Help!

Check the bill, o2 send bills afterwards. August is in the bill in September, July is in the bill from august. 

@Denner yes I know, I saw the dates, but it says Abrechnungszeitraum: 13.08.2020 – 12.09.2020 - shouldn’t it say Abrechnungszeitraum: 13.08.2020 – 31.08.2020?

Hello @sclaudine and welcome to our o2 Community :-)

The Abrechnungszeitraum is the period within all connections and fees are covered. This does not mean that automatically there are fees from the first day to the last day of this period. So if the contract ended on the 31st uf August it falls well within this billing period. After the deactivation there will be no further connection or fees being billed.

If you recieved a router from us, please send it back free of charge using our DSL logistics portal if you havenÄt done so already.

@o2_Lars thank you for your detailed reply! I sent the router I was using back to o2 already on July 31st. I do not think it a (another) router was sent to me, but since I moved away I would not know right away. I will patiently wait and see, hopefully it is the last bill, and there will be no more bill after this one!
