Disrupted DSL connection for two weeks

Starting from Monday 15th 2021 I’ve had multiple connection issues at my place in Bochum, 44805.

 

I had DSL synchronization problems for 2 days, resulting in no internet at all. Then I had very unstable and slow internet (10 MBit/s download and 0.3 MBit/s upload). It dropped up to 30 times a day and if it worked it would be very slow if I started streaming or downloading anything.

Then today I had no internet (DSL LED off), however the connection now seems to be back (19 MBit/s download and 1 MBit/s upload). Before two weeks ago I used to get 40 Mbit/s in download.

 

Unluckily I don’t speak German (yet), so I cannot call the hotline. My questions would be:

 

Is there a general problem in Bochum 44805? Is there a clear time when it’s supposed to be fixed? And by fixed I mean I get 40 Mbit/s again and no connection drops

I am sorry to hear there are issues with your DSL connection. You may try our o2 my Service App on your smartphone with a step by step analysis that may already help with the connection.
