SIM card for homespot, Activation failed!

Hi,

I am unable to activate my SIM card for homespot from my online account. I am not sure what is the issue. The erros is as shown below. Could you please get it fixed and SIM card for homespot activated. 

Activation failed

The SIM activation failed. Our customer hotline is happy to assist you.

I had similar problem and after a week, suddenly it fixes itself. There was some problem with database on o2 side, as far as I made some research. You can either wait or wait as going through phone help line is a nightmare.

Now the SIM card is activated but there is no internet. Its just the red dot blinking.

Do you still have prolems or does it work now?

Have you already checked your network availability in the Live-Check ? There you can also report a fault yourself if there is not yet one and it should be necessary.

Hello,

 

Need some assistance in activating my O2 homespot sim. The link for activation www.o2.de/aktivieren does not work and routes me to freischalten.o2.de/freischalten however it keeps on asking for the sim mobile number to activate however there is none found on the sim card, only a SIM Karten Nummer . Please can someone help?  I cannot call the hotline as my Deutsch is not that good

@jann0225    Sorry to hear your having problems activating your sim card.

Have you checked the status of your connection in your router menu. to confirm if your sim is activated / not activated .  my tutorial ,here 

 I’m not sure your being redirect to the wrong web address.

 I have you tried a different browser ?

Can you get a German speaking friend to phone the activation line on 0800 8089 189.

Hopefully someone from O2 will be able to help you out soon.

Hello!

 

My HomeSpot also has problems. I cannot access the router interface (either o2.spot and router’s IP address). The red dot on the bottom of the infographics keeps blinking. I have not been using HomeSpot for 5 months, now I returned to Germany and HomeSpot does not work anymore. I would be very very grateful for the help!

did you restart the homespot? Is it working after a restart?

Can you send us a photo of the homespot LED’s?
