Not receiving SMS

there is no associated contract, so I can´t go into specifics just yet (we´d have to switch to PM for that).

Are you in germany right now? If not, can you make outgoing calls?

You´ve already checked a different device, ine guess of mine would have been dual-SIM settings, but I guess we can rule that out ´cause of your inital testing.

Are you able to send a SMS to yourself? Connected to that question: What kind of SMS should you able to receive? Is it a TAN-SMS?

I seem to have the same problem, I have not been able to receive text messages for a while now.

I have a sim only contract, and I have not received texts with 3 iphones and 1 anroid so I think the problem must be that the function is not activated with o2??

How do I solve this problem? thanks

welcome to our community. 

Do you have a contract with connect function and a multicard usage? Please check which SIM card gets the texts. You can choose this by yourself. Go online and see the settings there.

I can send SMS but I am not able to receive SMS from my friends in Ireland! They say they send it to me and tell them that I received it and I didn’t! Can you help me, see if there is something blocked in my system?

I regret that you are not able to keep in touch with your friends in Ireland. 

I just checked the settings of your mobile phone number with 341 at the end. We have not blocked incoming SMS for you. 

Do you receive SMS within Germany? If not, please check if you have this SMS-code registrated on your device: +491760000443 (SMS-Zentralnummer). 

Did you receive an info-SMS about an incoming SMS? If not, the source of the problem may lie in the connection in Ireland.
