Technician did not come; O2 messaged me that account activated but internet not working. Advice needed/


Good day,
The technician was meant to come between 8-12 this morning (09 May 2019). I waited all morning and he did not show up. Just after 12, i received a message from O2 that my connection was activated. Has my internet been activated? I have connected my router to my line and i cannot configure it and i get a message saying "bitte uberprufen sie die verkabelung ihrer o2 homebox". My contract number is XXXXXXXXXX.
I cannot call the hotline because i dont speak German and so i dont understand the options or can speak to a consultant.
Please could someone assist.

Hello @johnshija,
I had a look into this. As far as I can see you already opened a ticket via our technical DSL departement. If there are any news or if there occur questions you will be informed via SMS.

Moin Moin,
the gray cable is plugged into the gray socket and the other end in the wall socket?
If yes what is the DSL LED doing? Off / On / Blinking?
If you cant call the hotline we have to wait for @o2_DSL ...

The gray cable is correctly attached and plugged in. The DSL light isnt even on.

Than you do not have a DSL signal.
If you don't like to call the Hotline you have to wait for the @o2_DSL team.
