I have a white o2 Box (wifi router and dsl modem combination).
Multiple times per day my router restarts itself which makes things like attending video conferences or online meetings impossible.
I have noticed that sometimes IP is changing every few minutes, that triggers connection interruption, but I am not sure it it is the reason for router restarts.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
I have a script that detects IP changes every 10 minutes, here is one of the logs:

Model of the router is:
Gerätebezeichnungo2 HomeBox 6641
Firmware Version1.00(AAJG.0)D14b
PS. This is awesome that you have this English support forum.

Did you already call the disruption hotline 0800 52 51 378 ?
Could they solve your problem?

Thanks for reply Rudi! I actually did not expect that somebody will reply ![:relaxed: ☺️](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/png/263a.png?v=2.2.7)
So far I have not met any technical, English speaking person on their Hotline, so I did not even try to call this time.
Do you think it is worth trying?

Well. There are quite a few different possible reasons for such a strange behavior of a router. It is difficult enough for a German hotline employee and a German customer to make clear what really happens and which actions should be taken in which order.
Most Germans learn English for some years at school but in such a difficult communication situation it would we better if you could by any chance ask a German native speaker to do the conversation for you while you are there also.
Unfortunately waiting time in the holding stack is sometimes more than an hour (estimated waiting time is told in advance) and in some occasions the connection unfortunately is disrupted after an hour without having spoken to a real person. The only possibility then is to call again. The only possibility to give O2 notice about any disruptions is the hotline.
Use a cell phone for calling so that you can do tests with the router without a disruption of the telephone call with the hotline.
Waiting time should be shortest in the morning. So if possible ask a German friend for an extensive breakfast with enough coffee. ;-)
