My connection date was on Friday (February 10th), the technician came and there were no issues. I connected the Homebox after the time specified in SMS, went through the manual set-up process, but after entering the PIN was given the following message:



"Es konnte keine Verbindung hergestellt werden, bitte wenden sie sich an die o2 Kundenbetreuung."



The info light is a constant red, however the DSL is on green. I tried a factory reset, but problem remains with the following status:



"Status der Erkennung des Zugangsnetzes



Himweis: Das Netz wurde nicht erkannt"



From that point I'm unable to proceed or provide my PIN.



I even connected a telephone to the Homebox, but am given the same message as before:



"Es konnte keine Verbindung hergestellt werden, bitte wenden sie sich an die o2 Kundenbetreuung."



When I check my online account, the DSL-Auftragsstatus is still on stage 4 (of 5): "Bereitstellung Ihres Anschlusses / Technische Geräte."

Okay,



I have now been waiting for a response to this question for more than 2 days, in that time I've tried contacting English support 3 times (between 11 and 3) and been unable to be put through to anybody who speaks English. The first time I was told I could be, and waited on hold for an hour before being cut-off.



I also reached out on Twitter for a response, and was told to send a Direct Message to them, and after an initial response asking me to make sure my cables were properly connected was given no further help in the past 21 hours.
