If I want to buy a handset, do I get it on a different contract or change the one I have?

I want to get a new iphone and I already have a postpaid contract. It makes more sense to me to have just a single contract for both. Do I have to get a different contract for the handset seperately?

You will have a separate contract for the phone and your existing postpaid stays as it is. Even if you bought a new phone at the same time as concluding the mobile contract you would have two separate contracts. You get a monthly invoice for the tarif and pay for the phone in 24 monthly instalments.
