I have sent the letter to cancel my contract at the end of Jan 2018 to Nurnburg office, since I started living in Norway from Feb1 2018. please help in this regard. I don't know whom to contact. I got this month bill 4 times the fixed bill even though I am living in Schengen state.

I am not quite sure what the significnce is of living in a Schengen state. If you are talking about costs incurred for using your contract in Norway then it may be relevant whether you are in an EU state (which Norway of course is not). What exactly have you been charged for?

Regarding your cancellation: I asume you wanted to terminate the contract early? This is usually possible but you have to submit your deregistration (Abmeldung) in Germany, your registration abroad or some other evidence such as an employment contract and will be charged 3 x basic fee for doing so. What did you submit to o2?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

The first question I asked in an O2 centre before leaving for Norway in Erlangen, that if I move to Norway will the charges be same or I have to Pay for roaming. The person at O2 shop told me there will be no extra charges, but I have been charged around 2 euro per day here for the month of Feb which is a lot more than the monthly bill.So how can I solve this problem?

Second, regarding contact cancellation, I send a letter to O2 office in Nurnburb as told by the lady in O2 shop for cancellation of my contract, since I was leaving the country. But If you can help me here whome I should contact or get confirmed that my contract is cancelled would be great, as I want to close my German bank account soon just was waiting for O2 confirmation of contract cancellation.

I am trying for last few days to find any contact of O2 so that I know for sure my contract is cancelled.

Hi Can U provide any phone number where I can contact someone to get the problem shorted out

I have registeration of norway where to send Please tell.

Hi jeet,

for canceling the contract because of moving abroad you have to hand in the following document, and the other forms which are mentioned:

https://static2.o9.de/blob/12985654/v=4/Binary/contract-cancellation-moving-abroad-download.pdf

All of this you need to send to the address in Nürnberg:

Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co.OHG

Kundenbetreuung

90345 Nürnberg

Without the needed documents your contract will go on until the normal runtime end in December 2018.

It is correct that roaming does cost something for you. You o2 Blue Basic includes the Travel Day-Pack, and not the new pack "EU-Roaming". You can find all the information about that in your "Mein o2" portal.

Kind regards,

Jessica ☺️

Thanks for your reply,

Last week I send these document by post to Nurnberg office, Please let me know whether the contract is cancelled or not.

Best,

Jeet

Hello Jeet,

the deregistration certificate of your place of residence in Germany is still missing.

Kind regards,

Jessica ☺️

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for the reply,

Since I am not living in Germany, and I have applied online for the deregistration document.

Is there any email I can send it once I receive it, would be great!

Please let me know,

Best,

Jeet

Hi jeet,

we still need the deregistration from Germany. As we don't offer email-support you can send it to the postal address you've sent the other documents to already or via fax.

Best regards

Ilona

Hi Ilona,

Thanks for the info I have the letter and will send it today by post. I have to close my bank account from which I pay the bill, Can you let me know till when I can close it.

Hi O2 support,

I just send all the document by online fax to this number- +491805 571 766.

Can you tell whether all the documents have been received and status of my contract.

Thanks in advance!

Hi jeet,

everything looks perfect now!

Your contract got deactivated at the 6th of April! ☺️

As I see you also got the information that you'll also receive another invoice, the final revision, after the deactivation.

Good that it all worked out. ☺️

Have a nice week and best wishes to you,

Jessica
