Hi, I work from home, so when I lose my internet connection Im basically losing my job. I really need this to be fixed as soon as possible, or I will lose my job otherwise.
I've tried all the trivial troubleshooting, turning it off, waiting 5 minutes, turning it on. Using only original cables and the basic stuff, can anyone please check my case?
As you can see, I don't speak German so calling the hotline is impossible for me, please tell me what do I have to do to get the service I'm paying for.

Help is only available through the troubleshooting hotline. Please call (if necessary with the help of a German-speaking friend) the following number.
O2 DSL phone
0800 52 51 37 8 Free
If possible, call this free service number from your mobile phone to fix bugs. You may need to restart the router, which will break calls from the landline.

What is the forum for then? I've seen plenty other cases here where they have offered support in English. As I said before, this is urgent, my income depends on this. I know is not your problem but if you or anyone could help me via this forum I would be very grateful.
Why is it so difficult to get support other than in German? Before signing the contract everyone was very happy to speak with me in English. Why is the support the complete opposite?

This Is a customer community forum. Many questions can be answered here, primarily by other customers, but if you have a technical problem with your internet connection it needs diagnosis which can only be done by phone.
Thanks, if I sound rude it's just that I'm really nervous about losing my job, so apologies.
Does O2 has an Email address for support? That way at least I can translate the things I want to say

Unfortunately not. The thing is though, they will need to perform tests on your line to determine what the problem is and that is why you it has to be done by phone.
Hello Luis,
as far as I can se you already contacted the technical DSL service yesterday and a trouble ticket was opened for you.
It also seems to me like the DSL conection is up and running again, maybe there were some issues or ome work through the local provider.
Please excuse any inconveniences.
regards,
Lars
