Hello- yesterday I had an appointment for a technician to come out for my DSL connection, however, no one showed up during the window of time they assigned me. What can I do from here? Will i be able to get another appointment? This is really unfortunate since I had to take the day off work. Can I connect the DSL myself?

Thank you for your reply. I made another appointment and I just got a text 15 minutes before the appointment window that the technician is not coming. I cannot keep taking time off work- I am losing money and vacation days.
Any advice on what to do now?

That's very annoying but unfortunately very common. There is little o2 can do about this, however, as the technician is from Deutsche Telekom. Contractually you would need to give them one more chance to come before you would be entitled to withdraw from the contract (though of course every other provider is in a similar position).
You only pay from the date the the line is connected and it might also be possible to get extra data on your mobile contract to bridge the gap. I'm sure Lars or another DSL moderator will look into this for you.
For now, all you can do is arrange another appointment.
