Contract closed. What to send back?

I have cancelled my internet and phone and need to send back the "technische geräte".  What are these? I have had the connection since about 2001

How can I recognise them? Do they have a name and serial number so that I can search for a picture in the internet?

On another note- Why O2 want this electronic junk back?
