Hi there,

I hope someone can help me. I think this might be a common question.

I signed up with O2 about 8 months ago with a normal 1GB 2-year contract. I would like to change and upgrade to 10GB or, if possible, to a phone + 10GB plan. I know that my 2-year contract isn't over yet but would it be possible change over?

Also, I would like to keep my current number.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Christina

As a principle, you can in most cases upgrade at any time, but not with a phone and at lower costs. This is only possible if the contract is prolonged for another 24 months.

A pure upgrade leads to your paying the full regular price of the new tariff, as previous discounts would not be valuable any longer.

Thanks so much @Omikron‌.

I also thought that I could upgrade at any time but the man at the shop said I would have to wait until my current contract is finished. Do I have to change it through the customer service hotline?

Hi @nowayitsck‌,

did you already conclude your concern? ☺️

Yes, such kind of a change is only possible by teh customer support. Please tell me to which contract you would like to change, so that I can check if it is possible to do so. We have some guidelines that we have to stick to.

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hi Jessica,

I haven't resolved or concluded this. I would like to switch to from the 1GB plan to the 10GB plan. If possible, i'd like to really switch to a phone + 10GB plan.

Thanks so much for checking =)

Christina

Hello nowayitsck,

sorry for the belated response. As I can see you still have the smaller plan. I would very much like to make you another offer, but as of now you are not qualified to change plans. Please send another request in seven months, which is when we will be able to make you another offer. ☺️

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Kind regards,

Ubbine
