Hello,
I need to cancel my contract (O2 Free M Flex) by the end of June (30.06.2019).
How should I proceed?
Thank you,
Best,

Hi @ltonin82 ,
welcome to the o2 community!
There are two ways to cancel your contract, the easiest way is to go to your Mein o2 account or the Mein o2 app:
At Mein o2, you go to: "Mein o2 > Tarif & SIM-Karte > Vertrag verwalten > Kündigung vormerken.
In the Mein o2 app, go to the Tarif & Optionen and then the Vertrags-Services section, there you can choose "Kündigung vormerken" (as in note of cancellation).
In both cases, you'll then need to call the hotline and confirm that you want to cancel your contract.
The other way is to send in a written cancellation to the following address:
Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG
Kundenbetreuung
90345 Nürnberg
Please keep in mind that your cancellation must be sent in / initiated by 26th May at the latest in order for your contract to be terminated by 26th June. Otherwise it will be terminated a month later.
Best regards,
Jan.

Hello Jan,
Following your suggestions, on May 8th I have called the hotline number to confirm the cancellation of my contract (with the help of a german speaking person). They told me that the contract would have been canceled by June 7th. However, I cannot see the cancellation on My o2 page.
Is it normal?
Has the procedure correctly processed?
Best regards,
Luca Tonin

Dear @ltonin82 ,
I can see three termination reservations ("Kündigungsvormerkung") on May 5th and 6th, but no confirmation. There is no confirmed contract cancellation registered.
Kind regards,
Andrea

Dear Andrea,
after the termination reservation, I call the number on May 8th to confirm the cancellation. The operator told me that everything was confirmed. What should I do now? Call again? Pay 2 months more?
Let me know please,
Best regards,

Dear @ltonin82 ,
I would always prefer the written correspondance, like o2_Jan offered above, or a fax. There you have the fax log as proof on your side.
So you have to cancel your contract again, because I have no hint in your data for a cancellation by phonecall.
Kind regards,
Andrea

Dear @kuku1993 ,
first of all, welcome to our forum. Nice that you have found the way to us. :-)
There is a contract for the Phonenummber xxx782. The contract started in June 2014. At the moment you are in a 12-month automatic contract renewal. The contract can be cancelled until December 12th 2019. Then it will end on March 13th 2020, if you won't cancel the contract will again renew for nother year.
In a 12-month automatic contract renewal you loose all your discounts on it, so it becomes more expensive than before.
