What is next after contract termination ?

I have already requested to terminate my sim-card contract (postpaid sim-card) and the termination date is 1st August 2019.
Just wondering if i would be able to use my sim card after that date?
does it automatically change to prepaid sim-card?
So there's an option to keep my number and move to another carrier?

There is no possibility to change the contract to a o2-prepaid-sim-card.
If you want to keep the number after August 1st, you have to move the number to another carrier.
