How to cancel O2 DSL contract due to country move

Hi,

for this o2 needs a letter with the reason why you will cancel the contract befor ending, also they need a official document, a copy is ok,  that you leaving germany.

The router must back to o2, for this you can use the free lable in the packege of the router, if you lost this you can print out a free lable at mein o2.

In order to cancel your contract, we need a written cancellation from you. In order to cancel your contract out of good will to an earlier date, we also require copies of the following documents:
- a deregistration certificate of your present place of residence in Germany
- a notification of your new, foreign domicile
alternatively a confirmation of your employer or landlord
We also need your approval for us to charge you the all-inclusive basic fee for 3 months, as your contract has a notice period of 3 months.The exact amount of the fee will be notified in a separate letter.

As soon as we have received the documents, we will cancel your contract to the next possible date.

but one last quesiton is I do not work in my home country and that i will be staying at my own home, can i ignore submission of new, foreign domicile or notification from landlord or employer, as they are not applicable in my case.

No. You have to prove two things in order to cancel: first: that you moved from Germany, and second: that you moved to another country. If you don't prove these two things, o2 will not be able to approve to the cancellation.
