DSL Tarife O2 my Home L and TL-WR940N Router

Hi everybody!
I want to apply to DSL Tarife O2 my Home L tariff plane and I have router TL-WR940N.
Tell me please is it possible to use this router or I need to by/use router provided by o2

Your router is useless
You can´t connect it to a DSL-line!

    Such an router is useless, because you need a Modem-Router (router with modem) for VDSL2 including vectoring.
    Recommendation: Fritzbox 7430/7530, 7490/7590
    Or you rent a router from o2

      I mean that I have my own router (I bought it 4 years ago).
      I am asking: can I use my router or I need to rend router from o2 ? 🙂
