Has my Cancelled Contract renewed?

Hello,

I cancelled my o2 contract at the correct time and in the correct manner - before 3 months prior to the end of the contract. I've seen on the o2 website that it was ending on 09.07.2019. However, the last day came yesterday and today I was expecting not to have any service. Instead, I continue to have service and I see that on the website it now says that the end of contract is 09.07.2020. This is unacceptable if it has been auto-renewed even though I went through the correct procedure for cancelling the contract.

I received a text from o2 as well that said my contract would end on 09.07.2019, so I'm really unsure why it would continue.

I can not find an email address to contact either, so I am trying this forum to see if this can be resolved.

One last thing to note: I am currently waiting for my number to be ported to another contract - I'm not sure if this would affect it but I guessed that it wouldn't cause the contract to renew for another year!

Edit: Okay so it says on the Tarif page (rather than the overview)

Does this mean it will terminate on 16.07.2019? Will I only be charged pro-rata up until this time?

I contacted o2 direct, and it's because of the number porting - I will only be charged for the amount of time until the number is fully ported over!

Hope this helps anyone else with a similar query.
