Fraud by sales person at O2 Shop Am Harrras Munich

I got scammed by this guy who was at O2 shop Am Harras. First of all he was extremely disrespectful towards me for no reason. I went to the shop in January to get my contract extended, I was enquiring about different offers, the guy was not cordial at all to inform what offers are cost effective. Anyhow, I got my contract extended and he asked me to sign the contract. While I was about to leave he told me that you get this free sim card. I didnt need it but he asked to keep it and I just put it in my bag.

Today When I checked my invoice I was charged 73 euros. When I called customer care to enquire about why I was charged so much, I got to know that there are two contracts active on my profile. I had no idea about it. WHEN I WENT TO SHOP I WAS TOLD THAT YOUR CONTRACT IS EXTENDED AND WAS NOT INFORMED THAT HE IS MAKING ANOTHER CONTRACT IN MY NAME. THIS IS A FRAUD, I REQUEST TO IMMEDIATELY CANCEL MY SECOND CONTRACT AND REFUND MY MONEY.

I have a feeling this guy did it INTENTIONALY and it is illegal to make a new contract in my name without informing me. I will TAKE STRICT LEGAL ACTIONS if my second contract is not cancelled asap and I am not refunded the money for second sim which is not even active. I NEED STRICT ACTIONS ON THIS MATTER NOW!!!!

Before you spend money on a consultation with the consumer protection agency, have you spoken to the shop? You can also submit a complaint about the shop via the contact form. I hope you didn't actually sign a contract for the second SIM.

And please don't shout! Using capital letters is shouting and is disrespectful. Nobody here is responsible for your situation or can remedy it.

Nobody here can deal with this directly. Talk to the shop and / or submit a complaint via the contact form.

If you are accusing the shop of fraud, have you also reported this to the police? You need to do that as well.

Hello @myusername , it's great to see you here in the community, even though I can imagine a nicer reason for your visit.

Suddenly noticing an unwanted second contract must have been a shock, and I regret how this came about. Of course, this is not what we want either.

You have already received some helpful answers here from schluej and bs0. In addition, I have recorded your complaint and forwarded it to the relevant department. Have you had any further contact with the shop itself?

Kind regards, Rebecca 🌼

PS: I understand that this is a nerve-wracking issue and that you are angry, which is understandable. However, please refrain from writing in all caps, as we want to maintain a polite exchange on equal footing here.

Yes Rebecca,

I got in touch with the shop guy and he has assured to resolve the issue. I will get it to know if it is actually resolved or not in its due time.

PS- No I am sorry I don’t think “polite exchange” is possible when so much of my money is at stake for a fault which somebody else did. I have all rights to be angry and demanding. Also considering all the fraud cases by O2 its indeed horrible service and I would revoke my contract as soon as I can.
