cancellation of portability


Hello, I have a question. I requested a number transfer (Rufnummermitnahme) to port out from O2, and I received a message saying: "Release of the phone number valid until: 12.05.2025." I’d like to know—can I still cancel the porting out process? What’s the procedure for that?

Das ist nur die Freigabe (Opt-In, Gültigkeit bis 12.5.25) der Nummer seitens o2.

Solange keine von dir beauftragte Portierungsanfrage eines anderen Anbieters bei o2 eingeht, erfolgt auch keine Portierung der Rufnummer.

If no request for porting is submitted, the number will remain active after 12.5.25 and won't be deleted—correct?

Exactly right. If no request for porting has been made, the number will remain active even after
12.05.2025 and will not be deactivated.😊
