Neuer Vertrag bei Umzug - New contract when moving

Dear All and Customer Service,

I firstly apologize to write in English, my German is still very poor. I opened last year (11.04.2019) an O2 my home M DSL contract. Everything is fine with it, but now I have a doubt. On 1.04.2020 I have to move to a new apartment, and I would like to keep this contract with me in the new house. When I tried to prepare the online request for moving the contract I was in first place asked to move my current contract at the price of €49.99, or conversely to start a new contract for free (and thus resetting the minimum contract of 24 months). I was wondering: if I restart my contract, would I also restart the possibility to pay the monthly price of €19.99 (router excluded) for the first 12 months, i.e. from 04.2020 to approximately 04.2021? Or would I pay the full price of €29.99?

Hi @Eleonora92,

 

welcome to our community. If you decide to exend your contract instead of paying the fee of 49,99 EUR once you take the existing discounts for new customers with you but they can’t be renewed.

If you look forward to get a loality discount in case of a contract extention you should  better pay the service fee and extend the contract later on. If you do it now you have to stick to it for the next possible chance after at least 12 month.
