DSL Username \ Password (auftragsbestätigung)

Hi! 

I already received the router but still doesn’t have confirmation mail (or email) with username and password. So i can’t setup everything and ‘be ready for activation’.

 

Activation is dated to 01 September.

 

How can i get this data via email (best way)?

I called customer support, and they told me that this data is not ready yet and they did not send it yet. They will send me all the info in 1-2 days before the activation date, no matter the router arrived a week ago.

When ordering an o2 DSL connection via the o2 website, you can choose whether you want to receive the information by e-mail (PDF document) or letter. You will receive the order confirmation as soon as o2 has a confirmed provision date from the local line provider. This usually takes place within one week after your order. 
If you selected to receive the confirmation by e-mail when you placed your order, it is best to check your e-mail inbox again, especially the SPAM folder. If you selected delivery by letter instead when placing your order, please check your letterbox at the contact address you specified when placing your order. 

If you have already received a Fritzbox 7590 from o2, the order confirmation should have already been sent to you. Please check your documents carefully.

  1. Is it possible to check which option I’ve selected due to creating new order? I’m not sure which one i selected, but should be an email.
  2. Is it possible to restore (or re-request) activation information via email?

Not received yet any emails with attachments from o2.

You can check it in your mind, I can’t.

You can ask o2 customer service to have it resent. It is advisable to clarify the e-mail address beforehand, otherwise the second e-mail may not reach you either.

This is quite unusual. Normally the order confirmation comes early and the router late.

In that case, your question is already wrong. You haven’t ordered a DSL connection. Therefore, no DSL username oder DSL password is required and none is sent. I made my restriction: "If you have already received a Fritzbox 7590" for a good reason. 

You will find the SIP data for configuring the telephony in "Mein o2" once the connection has been activated.

@undefined Than you have ordered a coaxial Internet tariff. You can connect you Fritzbox 6660 one, two days for the activation date tomyour multimedia connector. You don’t need any username and password for the internet. Sip username and password for the phone line you find in your mein o2 customer account on the day of activation.
