DSL contract transfer procedure


Hello,

Where I can get form for DSL contract transfer? I checked the forum but did not find it.

and what is the procedure for transfer?

@SKV Please this online over „mein o2“ Service portal over the option „Umzug“. Minimum 4 weeks before you move.

Hello @Sudhir,

it is possbile that a transfer to another person is not possible. Please log in into the online portal and try to start the "Anschlussinhaberwechsel" online. If it is available there, all necessary stepts will be taken automatically after starting the process.

Thanks for reply.

Under change of ownership there is link to Mein o2 and it takes to the O2 overview page. Further there are no steps or procedure mentioned for DSL contract transfer.

Could you please share link or forms for DSL contract transfer.

thank you for that. I had a look into this and unfortunately it is as I feared. As of today we can not offer a change of owndership of this contract, sorry This is an issue we are working on but it will take a while.

Hallo,

Thank you for your response. Is it a temporary problem or the transfer is no longer possible? In that case I would like to terminate my contract. It has been 6 months since I have taken up the contract. Can I terminate it now? If yes, then how can I do it and how much will it cost? Also, is it possible to transfer the contract by filling up the form and sending it to the address mentioned there?

Hello @joyeeta.amboli2011,

as stated before, we do not have the possibility to transfer your account to another person, sorry. If you want to cancel your contract, please write a letter of cancelation to the adress in Nuremberg. If you want to cancel before the end of the nominal contract time please oprovide documents that state that you are leaving for an area that we can not provide DSL coverage.

Hallo @o2_Lars,

Could you tell me what is the reason why it's not possible to transfer the contract? When I took up the contract from the O2 shop in Jena, they assured me that I could always transfer it to another person. Otherwise I would have never taken it up. Now I have moved to a different city (Karlsruhe) where I already have a student community internet system. Therefore, even though DSL coverage might be possible here, I don't need it anymore and I can not move the connection to my current place. Please tell me what kind of document do I need to provide in this case. I can not keep paying for an internet that I'll not use. Therefore, I need an alternative to this situation, be it transfer or cancellation.

I want my DSL contract to be transferred from one location to another in the same city, as I am shifting my house. How can I do that?
