I moved from Berlin to Amsterdam in 2018, yet I am still being charged for my o2 DSL-S Flex contract even after sending in my letter/abmeldung of termination in August 2018. I sent the router back as well and received confirmation of receipt yet I still am being charged!

I have tried to cancel my contract multiple times by marking for termination and then calling only to receive confirmation that it was going to be cancelled next month but never ended up happening. If my contract is not cancelled, the only solution I can think of is to close my bank account therefore stopping the direct debit payments. I have tried calling again but end up getting stuck in loops and out of service numbers(040 - 51 900 66 57). Is there any solution to this horrible customer service hell? Should i send my abmeldung and written notice again even though I haven't lived in Germany since August 2018?

Hi @mehkary,

welcome to our community. I have checked this matter for you. As far as I can see we got your cancellation request in August 2018 online but you did not confirm it by phone. This is a necessary step for finishing everything. If you miss the deadline of 14 days notice the contract continues. We did not get a letter or fax with your deregistration certificate, too. Where did you send it?

Because your contract has period of 30 days there is no need to send these documents. We can stop it as long as we get the confirmation by phone. I see you requested your cancellation once again October 7th. So you still have six days left to call us. Otherwise it won’t work again.

Greetings
