Hi,

I am looking someone to help me in unsubscribing from O2 because I have moved away from Germany.
I have moved 1 year ago, the abmeldung I got is from 01.03.2018. I have sent cancellation by fax in May as far as I remember. I was receiving nothing from O2, suddenly my parents received letter in my home country - Azerbaijan saying that O2 is looking for you!
I would like to speak to someone in order to solve my case as there is no Customer Services in O2 in order to contact and speak :(
Thanks in advance

Dear @altay13,

I have sent you a direct message via our o2_support account regarding this matter.

Best regards,
Jan.
Hi!

I am moving to England from Germany in June but my phone contract runs till November. What can I do?

I can provide evidence of de-registering in June but I will not have proof of residency in the UK as I will be unemployed and living with family. I am concerned that I will be closing my German bank account when I leave and I would rather just pay the 3 months 'good will' payment in advance..

Thanks for your help!
Hi @Jordananna1990,

welcome to the o2 community! :)

I'm not quite sure how they handle it if one of the required documents is missing, I'd assume you'll have to register your return at the nearest district council office?
You can try to cancel your contract with "just" the de-registration certificate and your approval for us to charge you the all-inclusive basic fee for 3 months, of course.

But to be on the safe side it'd be really beneficial if you could provide any kind of proof that you will be living in the UK again.

Best regards,
Jan.
