my o2 app cannot be logged in

I am trying to log into the Mein O₂ app with my correct Mein O₂ login details, but I keep getting the following error message:

"Something went wrong. An error occurred during login. Please try again in a few minutes. Note: You cannot log in to the app with your O₂ Community login."

    Did you register your tariff or hardware in the first step? Its mandatory, even if you already have an o2 contract.
