Wrong address

Hi everyone,

 

I ordered a SIM + mobile contract from O₂ but accidentally put my old address. DHL couldn’t find the name plate, so the package got returned.

 

Now, the O₂ website first showed “in delivery” and then “out for delivery,” even though I already emailed to cancel the order — no reply so far.

 

Has anyone else had this kind of delivery mix-up with O₂? It’s frustrating not knowing if my order will get delivered, returned, or canceled.

that’s really unfortunate, but unfortunately you’ll need to place a new order.

Your current order will now be automatically canceled by O₂.

welcome to the o2 Community. Thank you for contacting us. If the SIM card could not be delivered and was returned, the contract will be automatically cancelled. In this case, as already mentioned by 0179LoopUP, you will need to place a new order. Have you received any further information or a reply to your email yet?

Thank you for your message. My order has not been canceled, but since the SIM card could not be delivered, I would like to request a refund for this order. Could you please process the refund at your earliest convenience?

Hello ​@Nick1107 ,

You are logged in here with a prospect login that is not linked to an active contract. Therefore, we cannot access any of your data here in the forum.

Since your order could not be delivered, it will be automatically deactivated and any deposit you may have paid will be automatically refunded as well. 🙂

Did you only order a SIM card, or did you also order a device? And was it a prepaid card or a contract SIM?

So with a device, i see. Then it’s a real shame that you need to place a new order. 😕

Once we have the current device back, you will automatically receive your deposit. It may take a few weekdays to complete the transaction.

How long ago did you receive the information that your order could not be delivered?

And when and how did you cancel the order?

@o2_Rebecca On the evening of January 20th, I observed that DHL had returned my device to its original sender. Subsequently, I promptly contacted O2 for cancellation. I received a response indicating that a representative from our side would contact me for further processing of my order. However, no one has yet contacted me. Furthermore, I have attempted to cancel the order through O2’s tracking website, but I have not been able to do so.
