Hello
I have just signed a 2 year contract last night so its not even 24 hours yet.
Normally there should be a waiver period for 7 days, what is the procedure? The shop that I did the contract says no cancellation of the contract.
Thanks

A right of withdrawal with a 14-day period only applies to distance selling (ordered online or by telephone), but not to on-site purchases in a shop.
Was only a mobile phone contract been concluded or was a mobile phone with payment in installments been ordered at the same time?
If I understand your question correctly It was a classic 24 month contract only for the sim card plan -but yes I did it in a shop. In this case even the 3 month payment cancellation does not work?
A termination would then only be possible at the end of the 24-month minimum contract period, the termination must be received by o2 no later than one month before the end of the term.

Now I noticed that this thread was answered actually after the new legislation comes up, if I have been informed correctly about the changes in the link, I would have cancel my subscription within 14 days period. Instead, I was directed to change the contract to another person, which I cannot do it with the changes now. So I cannot do both now and stuck with the contract?
The legislation did not change anything in respect of the right to withdraw within 14 days. It is not currently possible to transfer a contract to another person, but according to o2 this is a temporary limitation.
