[urgent] change delivery address

Hi,

I’ve just made a purchase for 2 pre paid SIM cards and used 2 alternative delivery addresses of 2 friends who would receive and activate the SIM cards for me. After receiving the email confirmation of the purchase, I realized that for activation it requires me to do video proving of my ID. Therefore, I have 2 questions:

1- Can a friend activate the SIM card for me or is mandatory that I need to verify my ID by own in order to activate?

2 - In case I’m required to activate by myself, I need urgently to change the address for my own address instead, so that I can do the activation by myself. I tried to access my order via the Mein O2 portal with no success. Tried also the hotline but it is impossible to get to talk to a person without speaking German.

Please, I need to get this clarified and solved asap, before it is shipped to the addresses stated in the purchase.

Hello @caiob, welcome at our community.

In order for your SIM card to be activated, the data entered at the order must match those on your ID. If your friends want to activate the cards on their names, they can do so.

Unfortunately we can´t change the adress for you. You can order it again with your address.
