unwanted new tariff

I was cross-sold a new contract under the promise it would reduce my costs. However, I permanently reside in Israel. The agent did not inform me that switching tariffs would remove my international roaming protections and trigger massive 'Mobiles Internet Ausland' fees due to background LTE network handshakes. I am requesting a formal review, a credit for these unexpected roaming charges, and to be placed back on a plan suitable for my situation."

Changing tariffs does mit change anything regarding roaming limits. The limit is always just under 60 Euros unless you actively remove the protection.

If you were charged more than 60 Euros for data roaming and are sure you did not remove the protection by replying to the SMS you can submit a complaint, but not here. Use the contact form to do this.

Hey @Ofri,

Welcome to the o2 Community. We're glad you reached out to us.

To get your old plan back, you could initiate a revocation process.

As far as international usage goes, though, bs0 is right.

Greetings,
Flo
