Unable to change between data options


Hello, 

I purchased o2 Prepaid Data Pack XL besides o2 Prepaid S for extra data use. However even after I bought it and selected the Data Pack XL as my current option, my mobile data is only used from Prepaid S option. 

I selected the option clearly on the app and it says it’s active, but Prepaid Data Pack XL is still at 0MB and doesn’t seem to have any data usage but Prepaid S is constantly being used and about to run out. 

Can you please let me know why I cannot use the Data Pack option even after I select it as my main option on the o2 app?

Hi!

In Mein o2 you cannot influence (or change) from which pack the data volume is used first. With the combination of a smartphone tariff (e.g. o2 my Prepaid S) and an additional data pack (e.g. o2 my Data Pack XL), the volume of the smartphone tariff is used first and then the data pack.

It shouldn't make a difference to you. When the volume of the smartphone tariff is used up, the volume of the data pack is used automatically. The smartphone tariff is not deactivated and you can continue to use the flat rate for calls.

How to change to O2 Prepaid Max from O2 Prepaid XL?

15 is only enough for 5 days for me.

You can find the o2 Prepaid Max under Smartphone Options under Tariff & SIM Card.
