SIM not received


Hi team,

I hope you are doing well.

I’m Jithu Anand. My main SIM is XXXXXXXXXXIn August 2021, someone from O2 customer services called and offered me a new SIM and I agreed for that, which is XXXXXXXXXXIt’s been 1.5 years now and still I did not received my SIM. I called and messages so many times. I visited O2 shops several times for duplicate sim but they are not giving duplicate sim because its showing SIM already sent. I have given my correct address. I already contacted O2 customer service for refunding my money. I’m paying around 30 euros every month for nothing. So, I’m asking you to refund my money which i already paid. If anyone from O2 customer service, Please help me

Hello @Jithuanand,

our shops can issue a replacement card at any time. This also applies, for example, if someone has lost their card or if it has been stolen. I don't understand why that shouldn't be possible in your case. Please make sure that you carry your ID card or passport with you.
We can also try to send the card by post again. So far however, our letters have always not arrived, for reasons that I don't know. Please let me know if we should try sending a letter again.

I approached them many times but they say it’s already sent so they can’t give one. I don’t know if you send again I will get because it’s happening since months. I’m getting other letters from Telefonica but I don’t know why only sim. Anyway, I’ll try once again for the sim at the shop. As you can see I did not activated that sim, would you please give refund of the money which I paid so far.?

It sounds incredible that you have been without a sim card for so long.

Which of your contracts are we talking about? Can you please tell me the name of the tariff? 

Do you have a sim card now? Do you receive other mail from o2?

It seems you misunderstood. I already have a SIM from O2 since 2020 which is XXXXXXXXXX. In 2021, someone from O2 customer care called and offered me an extra SIM, which is XXXXXXXXXXX. I am talking about this. I did not received this yet. O2 told me they sent already but did not received. The people from the shop are not willing to give me duplicate because they are saying the SIM is already sent. This is the situation. Also, Im paying for this since 1.5 years.

please do not write personal data, these informations have to be deleted and can´t be used.
Can you name the tarifplan you are using and in best case name the other as well. Only the tarifplan, not your number 😉

I’m using O2 Free M Online and the SIM which i did not received is O2 Free Unlimited Basic.

as my colleague already asked you before, do other mail that is send by us reach you? The last time a SIM was sent was also back in April 2022, so there would have been ample time to try it through a shop again.

The main did not reached me yet. I will go to shop today and ask them to provide sim. But, still you did not mentioned anything about the money which i paid so far. Please tell me how I can compensate that?

Hallo Michi, I will ask them about it. but please tell me how you gonna compensate for the amount which i pais so far. This sim gonna expire on August 2023 but still did not received my SIM. Please give me solution to compensate that amount.

we sent a few extra sim-cards, but it seems they’re not reaching you. Could you please check in your customer account (Mein o2) if your contact address, email etc. is still correct?
