Hi,

I have a post paid plan with O2 in Berlin. I would like to know how much it costs per international text message sent to another country outside Europe (In my case Australia).

an SMS to an australian number would cost 1,19€ per SMS.

Hey,

I have a prepaid plan with O2.

I would like to send an international sms to India.

So how much would it cost and what do I have to do enable international messaging via SMS?

I welcome you again to our English Community.

Please have a look to our pricelist prepaid, page 8.

India belongs to “Ländergruppe 3” (country-group 3). Therefore, you pay 0,29 € for a SMS to India.

I confirm that you are not blocked to send SMS to other countries.

Hi,

I have a prepaid plan with O2 and I want to send an international sms to India but I am not being able to send it. Do I need to buy a roaming pack or is there any setting?

thank you for posting your question here. Welcome to the o2 Community. Have you been able to send text messages abroad using your SIM card? What happens when you try to send a text message? Do you get an error message?

Hi @o2_Bianca,
I am currently in Germany but I want to send an SMS text message to India. When I try to send it, it gives me an error, “message send failure”. Do I need to buy a roaming pack or something to send a text from Germany to India?
